Grandma's Footstool

Complete transformation of a 70's footstool, brought up to date with this super classy Navy Harris Tweed wood fabric, complete with new cushion and matching piping. Quilted mustard satin lining now looks chic rather than dated. This was a special present for a customer's wife - her Grandmother had originally upholstered this stool many decades ago, and Sarah had memories of her Grandma sitting on it when using the telephone, and storing the telephone directory in it. (Remember those?!) Because it had such sentimental value, Sarah's husband organised for me to re-upholster it in a fabric both of them had admired, and we delivered it - wrapped in a bow - for her birthday earlier this week. A perfect Granny's Attic Bespoke project and 2 very satisfied customers!
